Fitting in with Friends
A series of relationships are considered normal for younger singles, but fitting in with friends is an important step if it turns into a serious commitment. Being able to chat with them about current events or sports teams can be part of the enjoyment of getting together, and it can help a partner’s friends see that the relationship is advantageous. If they believe their friend is making the right choice, they will do their best to accommodate a new member into their circle.
There have been many times when a person has gone against the advice of their friends to be with someone they love, and it can be awkward for all parties involved. If a partner refuses to have any part of being with the friends of their spouse, they are creating a situation where that person must choose between them and those who have been with them as a support system for years. It can eventually ruin the relationship.
