Kitchen Diner
The kitchen diner is a spacious well appointed area with a large family size pine table and six chairs. There is a fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, electric cooker, washing machine, TV (Sky) and BT landline telephone.
The kitchen is equipped with all the necessary utensils and crockery.
Large Porch, boot room (to the rear)
The boot room is off the kitchen and is for hanging your coats and storing outdoor footwear etc. There is a gun safe for those who wish to bring firearms for clay pigeon shoots etc.
Bedroom accommodation
Two double bedrooms (sharing a shower room)
One double bedroom (en-suite shower/bathroom)
It can sleep six people comfortably. It has the additional facility fro a two seater sofa bed in the lounge
Each bedroom has a double zip link bed.
It is your choice when booking to request how you would like each bedroom configured. The Gearach is proud to be able to offer you and your family and friends perfect sleeping arrangements. No more pushing twin beds together to make the "short straw" bedroom into an uncomfortable double on your holiday!

Shared shower room - lashings of hot water - power shower, w/c, wash basin and towel radiator.
The Gearach Bedroom
Two single or one double zip link bed.
Chest of drawers, bedside cabinets, dressing table and chair, mirror, hairdryer and occasional chair.
Shared shower room - lashings of hot water - power shower, w/c, wash basin and towel radiator.
The Gold Suite
Two single or one double zip link bed(s), dressing table and chair, mirror, hairdryer, mirror door wardrobes and occasional chair.
En-suite bathroom - bath, shower w/c and wash basin and heated towel radiator.
Large Lounge
The double aspect large lounge affords a vaulted ceiling and views across Loch Indaal and the rear garden and patio.
The furniture comprises:
a two seater sofa
a two seater sofabed
a coffee table and three occasional tables
three large armchairs
a flat screen TV (Sky)
two occasional chairs and coffee table by the large garden window.
Barbeque area/patio
The barbeque area is ideal for disposable barbeque trays. It has a flame-proof work surface for cooking and a wooden work surface for serving.
A wooden garden patio table that seats 8 people is in the garden.
A comfortable wooden bench on the patio garden - peaceful reading area with views of Loch Indaal, Bruichladdich village and the Paps of Jura.
Drying Porch
For the multipurpose use. A warm sun trap for an alfresco under cover cuppa or drying your washing out of the clouds.
* Dogs are not allowed in the cottage but we offer an excellent heated kennel facility at the Gearach - your dogs can enjoy a doggy holiday!
** We do not cater for children under 12 years old.
*** We DO supply towels and bed linen.
